[The Last 1%] Part 2: Testing, Testing, 1-2-3...
Part 2 of a series where we go behind the scenes of what happens during off-season testing. This post covers the beginning of fundamental suspension changes and what we learned.
Our second test was scheduled just a few days after our initial shakedown, leaving us with just enough time to look over data, come up with a plan, and have everything ready to go. We initially planned for three days of testing, but once again the weather in Florida threw us a curveball and we were left with only one day of clear weather. This changed the plan dramatically. We decided that with just a single clear day, we would focus on three key areas of the bike and one with the rider. Our plan looked like this:
